I hope your hearing has returned to normal. I’ve had some strange temporary instances like that while sick, exhausted, and very stressed out.

And a lot of goodies to digest for me in this post, thanks. I skimmed over that Bea Brennan release, for example, so it's always welcome to have a reason to give something another crack.

I was listening to those two ex_libris releases while running errands today, coincidentally, and man they sound so good. Thanks for articulating how!

To add to the tinnitus comments: I got hearing aids and my tinnitus went away completely. There is strong evidence one cause of tinnitus is your brain trying to fill in for hearing loss and fucking it up. Just putting it out there for those who suffer from it regularly.

Hi Philip, I have a very minor tinnitus, but I've found that stress and alcohol can provoke it. I hope the tinnitus leaves you for good.
