New Playlists for 2026

One for chilling, one for dancing—now on Tidal! (Plus Apple, Deezer, and Spotify.)

February 20, 2026: Update! I’ve now added both playlists to Tidal as well, since so many people had asked for it; see below for links. Also, owing to a glitch I was having with the app I use to mirror playlists across different DSPs, I had to delete the Apple version of the club playlist and recreate it. That link has been updated below.

Once again, Futurism Restated is back with two new playlists, to be updated on a regular basis throughout the year.

One will focus on softer sounds, largely ambient (and ambient-adjacent), whether electronic or acoustic.

The other is dedicated to club sounds: techno, house, bass, breakbeats, and beyond.

For the time being, I’ll be publishing them on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, and now, by popular demand, Tidal. And, to be honest, I’m considering dropping Spotify, as I think they’re pretty evil, but I also know that a lot of people use them. TBD. (And as usual, in regular editions of the newsletter, I’ll keep the focus on Bandcamp links where you can purchase downloads or physical editions.)
