I think it's a really interesting album and I have spent a LOT of time with it. It's a love/hate situation for me atm, not bad music in any way, probably a masterpiece or a gimmicky spiritual female version of Kamasi Washington (I don't like him). Probably a masterpiece though 😄
I always associate Lost with the warp mix compilation Blech which to my mind is still one of the greatest mixes of all time. Perhaps I’m just being nostalgic. “Our record speaks…”
Really enjoyed reading your reflections on Pony Express Record, Philip! I discovered them myself as a teenager in 2006 or 2007, via Biffy Clyro’s Simon Neil mentioning X-French Tee Shirt in a Kerrang interview. Quite interesting in hindsight, given how safe and mediocre Biffy Clyro’s own major label trajectory has been.
I would love to hear your thoughts about Nala's Sinephro latest (especially if you didn't like the album!)
I haven't spent much time with it, tbh -- I need to. But it sounds like you're not a fan?

That Lapsus party is going to be quite something. And Slowdive have some great remixes to their name. I mean.... come on..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smyX4XEeyUc
